Snorkel Trips

One of the great seasonal activities you can do in South Padre while on your vacation is to take a professionally guided snorkel trip.  Snorkeling in South Padre with American Diving offers you the most professional, experienced NAUI and PADI trained dive instructors.  Seasonally, we have snorrkeling trips up to 2 times a day aboard the MV Diver I.  We have the Island's only certified Snorkeling guides, Dive Masters, Snorkeling Instructors, and Dive Instructors. The MV Diver I is a US Coast Guard documented and inspected Diving/Snorkeling vessel and our snorkeling excursions go to the Laguna Madre Estuary or the South Padre Island jetties (as weather permits).

The trips are $25 dollars which include all equipment, a tour of Whiskey Channel, and of tour of South Padre Island homes along the Thompson channel in our air-conditioned vessel with onboard restroom.  The total trips are generally 3 hours long with an hour of time being spent in the water.

Off shore snorkel trips for experienced snorkelers to the Iron Reef Little Sara are $60 pp which include guide and equipment. The Iron Reef is 9 mile from shore.
